Last week, Climate Strategies brought together our members based in the Netherlands for an evening of collaborative discussions and brainstorming. The gathering explored Just Transitions and climate justice, the evolving role of hydrogen in the energy transition, the future of international carbon markets in the wake of COP29, and reforms to global climate governance. Such conversations are the cornerstone of Climate Strategies’ work, which bridges science and policymaking to tackle key issues of the climate crisis.
The meet-up underscored the crucial role our members play in shaping Climate Strategies’ work. As leading academics and experts in their fields, they often provide the foundation for our projects and guide the organisation’s strategic direction as we plan for 2025 and beyond. Membership in Climate Strategies is free-of-charge, creating an open and dynamic platform for exchanging ideas, advancing research, and building connections within a global network of climate professionals. Special thanks to our Chair, Joyashree Roy, and to Maurits Blanson Henkemans and Ana Paola González Alonso for their efforts in making this meet-up possible.
